Asian Burritos

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup oats
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 6 whole wheat tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
Ginger salsa
  • 1 large tomato finely chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger root

In a skillet, cook ground turkey until brown. Drain grease. Stir in oats until well incorporated; add hoisin sauce, water, soy sauce, and cayenne pepper. Let simmer a few minutes until well blended.

Warm tortillas and fill each tortilla with turkey mixture. Top with cabbage and carrots. Serve with ginger salsa. Enjoy!
