Homemade Granola
- 7 C. oats
- 1 C. sweetened coconut
- 1 C. sliced almonds
- ½ C. chopped pecans
- 1 C. raisins or other dried fruit
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ C. canola oil
- ½ C. water
- 2/3 C. honey or molasses
- 1tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 275°. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a medium sauce pan, warm oil, water, honey, and salt. Add vanilla just before pouring warmed liquid over dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Pour mixture onto a jelly roll pan and cook for 1 hour stirring occasionally.
